Bohdi, Bob, Boddan. A loved dog has many names. Bohdi was named after the religion Buddhism. His name means enlightenment in Sanskrit. Bodhi is the name of the tree were Buddha sat and meditated his way to Nirvana (total enlightenment in the religion).
Bohdi is the first dog that Ella ever imported, he is from Czech Republic. The reason behind importing a puppy is a long story, but it mainly had to do with Ella wanting to try out a sport bred Border Collie with minimal herding instincts.
Bohdi has taught Ella so much about dog training as he is the biggest challenge so far. He is a very sensitive, easily stressed and insecure little dog. And looking back it's pretty funny that he is named after the tree Bodhi that Buddha meditated under, as he needs a lot of calmness and a handler that almost "meditates" before entering the ring with him.
